Adare Manor Golf Club: Guidelines for Competition Golf During COVID-19 Restrictions

  1. Practice good hygiene and social distancing. Sharing of motorised buggies is prohibited.
  2. Please top up your Green Fee account by contacting the Office between 9am to 4pm on MONDAY, WEDNESDAY or FRIDAY. Please have your Credit or Debit Card details and your GUI number to hand to avoid any delays in processing. Please top up with a minimum of €30 to avoid having to top up weekly. Unfortunately, due to restrictions we cannot take cash in envelopes. All competition fees must be paid via you Green Fee account. Please take care when giving your GUI Number. Ensure that your details are read back to you and that all is correct as misdirected funds cannot be refunded at a later date.
  3. On the day of the competition please sign into the competition via the Howdidido App. To install and use the app please follow instructions which were emailed from the club on the 24th June 2020.
  4. On the day of competition please collect your score card from the starters hut.
  5. On the card you must write your name, date and handicap.
  6. Under no circumstances should you swap score cards. Please only handle and mark your own card and confirm your score with playing partners after each hole.
  7. Avoid touching the flag stick. DO NOT REMOVE THE FLAG STICK.
  8. Preferred lies in bunkers. This means you may LIFT AND PLACE the ball within 6 inches but not nearer the hole (You CANNOT smooth the bunker and then place your ball). After your shot please exit the bunker smoothing your tracks where possible with your foot as you leave.
  9. During play if for any reason you doubt the location of your ball please play a provisional ball. You CANNOT return to a tee after you have left it. ANY DOUBT PLAY A PROVISIONAL.
  10. After completing your round please log into the Howdidido App and enter your score. It is important that you also return your card to the box at the hut after you have entered your score on your phone. You DO NOT need to get your card signed by a playing partner.
  11. Competition results will be available later in the week. The results will be posted online and on the phone. Please be patient.
