The third hole is a tricky Par 5 with a 90 degree dog leg to the left. A good drive should place you in the middle of the fairway so that an approach of 200 plus yards gives a chance of eagle for the big hitters.
The large trees protecting the fairway are one of the true features of the course, standing here long before the course opened in 1900.
The green also hosts two bunkers left and right of the green and out of bounds runs along the right from tee to green.
