The second hole is one of the more difficult holes on the course. The hole runs to the left parallel to the River Maigue. A good drive is needed here as the fairway dog legs slightly to the right.
Not a short hole either at 402 yards from the medal tees.

The approach to this green all depends on your drive. While a wayward tee shot to the left still gives you a view of the green.
With the Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort as a backdrop, out of bounds also runs behind. Two bunkers left and right also protect this undulating green.
